Anything Weather - Idaho Spring
The nearest weather report is for Idaho Spirngs. Expect the temperature
at the summit of Mount Evans to be 21 to 35 degrees colder than the predicted
Idaho Springs temperature! Why? Because the temperature decreases 3 to 5
degrees for every 1,000 feet in elevation gain. If a front moves through
Colorado or we experience thunderstorms in the Front Range, it could be
snowing at the summit! This could be a severe storm or just a few flurries.
EXPECT IT TO BE COLD AND WINDYAT THE SUMMIT!
