Mule Deer

During August, bow-and-arrow and black powder hunting opens in the lower valleys drive the deer and elk into the high country. The deer and elk typically feed at sunrise and sunset and can be found along the timberline at these times. Herds may be seen near Lincoln Lake in the late afternoon.
